The Fur Babies
Ashley and Ryan are very passionate about saving animals and have been fostering dogs for over the past three years. They are about to start fostering their seventh foster dog. Below are the amazing pups that have entered their lives, including their full time puppers, Quinn and Max (aka Queen Quinn and Detective Max). Ashley and Ryan hope to help as many animals as they can, as difficult as fostering is there is nothing better than knowing you saved a pups life. This rare beauty is Quinn; our queen and ruler of the house. We rescued Quinn over five years ago from NKLA and she quickly took over our lives. She is very intelligent and demands our respect and attention. She loves tricking Max, complaining about the quality of her water (will literally stomp her foot and protest if it’s not fresh water) and to squeak her toy loudly until we pay attention to her. Although she is our spoiled princess, Quinn has been an incredible foster sister to all the pups we’ve had. She’s great at helping them socialize and learn how to play with toys.
This handsome gentleman is our baby boy, Max! Max was a foster and we ended up as foster failures and adopted him. This sweet boy with the amazing underbite worked his way into our hearts and our precious girl Quinn also fell in love. He is now our forever boy. Max is also a world famous detective, although he has had a few unsolvable cases, including “who peed on the fridge?'“ and “who peed in the laundry basket?” Max is hoping to have a breakthrough in the cases someday.
This is our happy family, Max, Quinn and our old lady foster Honey! Honey is a 13 year old blind and deaf cocker spaniel. She ended up with a woman who adores her and is enjoying her last years of life in luxury. Lots of loves and food is what Honey requires. We are so happy we got to know this wonderful old woman!
This loving little guy is Wilford, our very first foster. Wilford found an amazing forever home and is now names Bob. He is the sweetest boy and we are so proud to have been a small part of his journey.
This sweet girl was our little foster Peanut. All Peanut wanted to do was snuggle you, she was fine as long as she was with you! Peanut is now with an amazing family that can snuggle her whenever she wants!
This handsome boy was our foster Quasi. He had a rough start, needing surgery on his back from a severely infected wound. Quasi bounced back with all that puppy enthusiasm and ended up with an amazing woman who renamed him Hank! Hank is doing amazing and we are so happy for him.
This was our sweet little foster Annie. She is the kindest, sweetest, sassiest pup. She is so lucky to end up in her forever home with our good friend Gabby!! Annie is now Nova and is living her best life <3
